What does the course look like day to day?

Mostly lab time: faults are planted across the management, control and data planes, and participants isolate them using CLI tools, the API and a structured method. Lecture blocks cover the diagnostic model and operational practice; the labs make it stick.

How is this different from general network troubleshooting skills?

The overlay changes the diagnostic problem: encapsulated traffic, a distributed control plane and enforcement points spread across hypervisors mean traditional packet-chasing instincts need retraining. The course maps those instincts onto NSX-specific tooling and failure modes.

Our NSX runs inside VMware Cloud Foundation — right course?
