1. Who we are

This website (uptimeskills.com) is operated by the Uptime Skills team — an independent IT training operator (see About). Contact:mail@uptimeskills.com.

2. What data we collect

Contact form. When you send a request through our form, we receive your name, email address, company name (if you provide it) and your message. We use this information for one purpose only: to answer your request. It is delivered to and stored in our mailbox. We do not pass it to third parties and we do not sell it.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate region, device type). Analytics runs through Google Consent Mode v2: no analytics cookies are set unless you explicitly accept them in the cookie banner.

3. Cookies

The only cookies this site can set are Google Analytics cookies — and only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you decline, the site works fully without them.

CookieLifetimePurpose
_ga2 yearsDistinguishes returning visitors for Google Analytics
_ga_<id>2 yearsKeeps session state for Google Analytics

Withdrawing consent: click “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time — this resets your choice and shows the banner again, with analytics cookies disabled until you accept anew. Your consent choice itself is stored in your browser's localStorage, which is not a cookie and never leaves your device.

Google LLC processes analytics data on our behalf. See Google's Privacy Policy. Transfers of analytics data to the United States are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for analytics cookies.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — for processing contact-form data in order to answer your request.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to its processing. Write to mail@uptimeskills.com — we respond to all requests.

6. Data retention

  • Contact-form emails: up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Analytics data: 14 months (configured in Google Analytics).

7. Changes to this policy

We update this page when our data practices change and adjust the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
