Is VCF 9 training relevant if we run classic vSphere today?
If your licensing or roadmap points to VMware Cloud Foundation — as Broadcom’s portfolio increasingly does — then yes: VCF is a different operating model, not a bigger vSphere. Teams staying on standalone clusters are better served by vSphere 8 courses.
What happened to the Aria courses?
The Aria products were folded into the VCF line as VCF Operations and VCF Automation, and this course covers them in that role. Separate legacy Aria courses are being retired across the market.
Does the course include NSX and vSAN?
Yes, as integrated parts of the platform — networking and storage domains are configured and operated in the labs. Engineers specializing in NSX should add the dedicated NSX 4.x course.
Which certification does this support?
It is the core preparation for the VCP-level certification on VMware Cloud Foundation. We arrange exam vouchers alongside the course when certification is part of the goal.
