Who is Cloud Director for — is it relevant outside service providers?
Its home market is cloud and managed service providers selling multi-tenant capacity. But enterprises use it too: internal clouds where business units or subsidiaries get isolated, self-service virtual data centers with quotas and their own networking. The skills are the same.
How much NSX knowledge does the course assume?
Tenant networking in Cloud Director rides on NSX, and the course covers that integration from the Cloud Director side. Prior NSX exposure helps but is not mandatory; teams designing complex provider networking often add dedicated NSX training to the same plan.
Does the course cover chargeback and billing?
It covers the platform side: resource allocation models, metering and the consumption data that billing systems consume. Actual invoicing is handled by external tooling; the course makes clear which data Cloud Director provides and where integrations attach.
