No, but logical thinking helps. FortiSOAR playbooks are built visually from steps and conditions; scripting appears at the edges for custom transforms and connectors. The course keeps the visual builder central and shows where light code adds power when needed.
What does the course cover besides playbooks?
The full administrator scope: platform setup, role-based access, tenant structure for MSSPs, connector configuration and incident-workflow design. Playbooks get the most lab time because they are where automation value concentrates, but the platform has to be run properly around them.
We are not a large SOC — is SOAR overkill?
