The perimeter did not disappear — it multiplied. Every home office, coffee shop and branch without a firewall is now an enforcement problem, and bolting a bigger VPN concentrator onto the data center stopped being the answer some time ago. FCSS — FortiSASE 25.x Administrator is Fortinet’s expert-level course for the alternative: security delivered from the cloud, following the user rather than the building.
The course teaches FortiSASE as it is actually deployed — onboarding users and sites, steering traffic between cloud and on-premises enforcement, publishing private applications over ZTNA, and integrating the service with an existing FortiGate estate so policy stays coherent. It prepares for the FCSS — FortiSASE Administrator exam in Fortinet’s solution-specialist tier, the level above FCP.
As a training operator, we organize delivery through authorized partners with instructors who run SASE migrations in production — live online in your time zone, on site, or as a private group weighted toward your rollout plan.

Factual criteria only — level, duration, audience and certification. The right choice depends on your team's starting point and stack.
The professional-level FortiOS administration course and the assumed baseline. Choose FCP first for engineers new to the Fortinet stack; FCSS-SASE builds the cloud-delivered security layer on top of that device-level foundation.
The other expert-level Fortinet track: multi-FortiGate architectures on infrastructure you own. Choose Enterprise Firewall when the estate is data-center and branch hardware; FortiSASE when the users and enforcement points are moving to the cloud.
Mid-way through a VPN-to-ZTNA migration? A custom 2–3 day program can focus entirely on your rollout — coexistence with the current remote-access stack, application onboarding order, and the pilot-group plan.
If your team needs a subset of this program — or a mix of topics from several courses — we build a custom 2–4 day intensive on our own materials, shaped by your infrastructure. One custom program typically replaces 2–3 catalog courses.

FortiSASE Administrator is an FCSS-level course — it assumes FCP FortiGate knowledge and works at architecture and integration depth.
Because real deployments are hybrid: FortiSASE integrates with FortiGate edges, shares the FortiOS policy logic, and steers traffic between cloud and on-premises enforcement. Engineers who understand FortiOS pick up the SASE layer far faster and design better traffic-steering decisions.
Yes — ZTNA is a core part of the FortiSASE curriculum: publishing private applications, posture checks and the gradual replacement of legacy remote-access VPN. Many teams book this course specifically to plan that migration with a qualified instructor.
