Implementing Cisco SD-WAN Solutions

Every distributed organization knows the branch problem: racks of single-purpose appliances at every site, aging on different schedules, each failure requiring a courier or a road trip. Implementing Cisco Enterprise SD-Branch (ENSDBI) trains the consolidation answer — running routing, security and other branch services as virtual functions on a single platform, deployed and operated centrally across the whole estate.
The course is squarely an implementation program: platform preparation, virtual network function deployment, central orchestration and the day-two operations that decide whether the design actually reduces effort. It assumes solid enterprise networking and sits naturally alongside SD-WAN skills, since most SD-Branch projects begin as the second phase of an SD-WAN rollout — the moment teams ask what to do with everything else in the branch rack.
We organize delivery through authorized partners and vetted instructors who have run branch transformation projects at scale — live online in your time zone, on site, or as a private group with emphasis on your platform mix and migration plan.
Topic areas below are grouped in our own words. The full official agenda is available on request — it comes from the authorized partner as part of your quote.

Factual criteria only — level, duration, audience and certification. The right choice depends on your team's starting point and stack.
The CCNP Enterprise concentration for the SD-WAN fabric itself — controllers, policies, exam 300-415. Choose ENSDWI for the WAN overlay; choose ENSDBI for what sits inside the branch: virtualized services on the local platform. Many teams need both, in that order.
The broad CCNP Enterprise core course covering the whole enterprise stack at certification depth. Choose ENCOR for the certification path and general depth; ENSDBI is the specialist course for teams whose actual project is branch transformation.
Planning a branch refresh across a specific estate? A custom workshop can combine SD-Branch implementation with your SD-WAN design and migration sequencing — the cross-topic scope no single standard course covers.
If your team needs a subset of this program — or a mix of topics from several courses — we build a custom 2–4 day intensive on our own materials, shaped by your infrastructure. One custom program typically replaces 2–3 catalog courses.
Explore custom coursesThe branch appliance pile: separate boxes for routing, firewalling and WAN optimization at every site, each with its own lifecycle and each requiring a visit when it fails. SD-Branch virtualizes those functions on one platform, managed centrally across all sites.
They are complementary layers. SD-WAN handles connectivity between sites — the overlay, policies and transport. SD-Branch handles services within the site, running them as virtual functions on branch hardware. Most real deployments combine both, usually starting from SD-WAN.
No exam maps directly to it — it is an implementation course. It pairs naturally with ENSDWI, which does carry a CCNP Enterprise concentration exam, so teams building a certified SD-WAN practice often schedule the two together.
The economics favor scale: central orchestration pays off most from a few dozen sites upward. Smaller estates still benefit from the consolidation pattern, but if you run five branches, a custom scoping conversation may serve you better than the full course.
